Error 1935 during installation

Summary

During installation the setup program displays an error message similar to the following:

Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly component
{A5C9EECC-B240-47EC-9336-81A758C7DB4C}.
HRESULT: -2147319761

Workaround

This error occurs if the .NET framework is not installed on the computer. You must allow the setup program to install the .NET framework.

If you cancel .NET framework installation, setup will subsequently fail with the error shown above.
